Importan installation instructions for Technical Inventory 3.0

Technical Inventory can be installed as a pure 32-bit application, but also as a universal application (32 and 64 bit).
If you do not install Technical Inventory as a pure 32-bit application, so on 64-bit Windows systems the appropriate 64Bit-Client-Versionen of the database must be installed before.

When you use Technical Inventory as 64-bit application with Access database extension (database from Technical Inventory should be in an MS Access-database-file) the following requirements must be met:

It must be the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Access database engine 2010 installed. You will find these on the side of Microsoft here.
If you have already installed Office in a 32-bit version, so run the installation of the database engine using the parameter "/passive" ausführen, to install a 64Bit-Komponente parallel to the 32Bit-Office.
After the installation check whether in the registry (regedit.exe) under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\FilesPaths the registry value "mso.dll" exists. If so, delete this key or rename it. Otherwise, it may happen that an Office program like Word each time you start performing a reconfiguration.
